Day 30.5

I ended up meeting with a few people randomly after finishing for the most part today 🙂

I met up with Debbie/Gluxbox over in Wasabi.

We did a bug catching contest (it was a tie) and just had fun chatting :3 I also catalogged some stuff, although, about half was lost due to disconnects… @-@ So my catalog may be a bit off. I will be going back over tomorrow; however, to finish!

I also stopped by Rainy’s to wish a Happy Tanabata <3 We had a fun conversation.

I then went to Junri’s to drop something off for her 🙂 She was having a meteor shower!

I can’t wait to see what I’m going to get from Wishy tomorrow *CROSSES FINGERS FOR #9 LAMP*

One of the cool things I got while over in Wasabi was a Soft-serve lamp. I gave it to Cyrus to make Chocolate.

It’s so cute:

I’d love to put it in my kitchen, but it looks odd replacing the other light and while I have room to place it, I’m already having room fitting things in there 🙁 So I will probably be using it in one of my other character’s rooms.

Also, on a Blog Related note, the QR codes for the Faceboards I made are now up! I will be adding the Waterfall once I get the QR code machine unlocked on Emi. Unfortunately, I will most likely not be adding any other designs at this time.

Day 26.5 + Some Blog Stuff

Gonna get the blog stuff out of the way first… The catalog section is almost completely done. EVERYTHING is listed, but I haven’t checked anything off yet (due to the fact that my Nookling’s shop is closed at this time and thus, I can not check my catalog). Expect it to be checked off sometime tomorrow–speaking of tomorrow, Happy 4th of July everyone! <3 I am sad that fireworks aren't until August. XD To my surprise though, Matt invited me over to his Japanese town to catalog some things!
And if that wasn’t enough, it turns out it was set to be Tanabata today. I also was able to pick lots of weeds 😀

I actually really love Japanese events–ever since I had gotten a Hinaningyo back in the Gamecube version of the game, I had started to look up all kinds of Japanese festivals so it really excites me when I get to see one–even if it may not be in real life.

I also said Hi to Lucy 😛

Ruu actually invited me to her town Sunday (well, Saturday night for me) for Tanabata so I’m pretty excited 😀 Saturday will actually be a pretty busy day, but I’ll leave the reasons why for then!

But yes, the lovely Bamboo in the museum!:

So awesome <3

Day 10

Before I start, I am happy to say Comments now work! Not sure when or how they broke, but yay for them working again.

Re-Tail Sign: Spider
Turnips: AM: 96 Bells | PM: 92 Bells

Mornings are a bit slow now in Animal Crossing with the only things I really need being out in the evening (although, I think I have an hour to find a Gar…but that’ll be the drive to work).

SHE WAS ASLEEP! YES!

SO BUILDING THE DREAM SUITE. I pray I can open it up today, but I honestly don’t know.

But first! Water Well Celebration.

…Only Flip is up? My feelings feel hurt 🙁 And then Flip gave me a Relay Tank. Thanks, Flip.

TIME FOR DREAM SUITE. It is actually only 234K–cheaper than I expected so I should pay it off today! Tomorrow will be breaking in the Dream Suite (so I will probably attempt to stream it). Expect to see me for 50+ Dream Villages >3 if I have the like…25K+ to pay for them anyway.

Will have to sell things first though before I do… so still 45 minutes until Re-Tail opens 🙁

I stopped by for StreetPass (MORE BALLOONS)

…and then took a small break for the drive to work @-@

I found Katie in my town today.

On the way to take her to my mother’s town though, I spotted a fairly big fish…

GAR. 😀 YES. Now just the Tarantula to go! Looking forward to what I get from Katie tomorrow too.

I also found my first lost item today 😀 Yay.

You bet I’m a Detective, Joey. >3 It’s official now.

Ran into Pete~

Ruby wanted a Shark, but I told her no. I just need the bells too much right now 🙁 Also still need to find my last fossil. So, decided to take a quick pause from trying to find the lost item’s owner to donate to the museum.

So close!

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is only a little over a month away–unless you were one of the lucky people to get into the Mayor’s Program in which you’ve probably been playing for about a week and I will envy forever.

Regardless, I’m not as planned as I’d like to be. I still need to work on remaking all these patterns and just have no clue where to begin. Working from a 3D model is hard enough–especially without being able to see where certain lines are formed so I don’t know if I can attempt them until I have the game which is kind of depressing.

I have studied up on the game extensively–I can easily tell if a painting is fake, I know everything I want, best ways to earn money, the kind of map I hope to aim for… I’m ready for it 🙁 So really, the only problem is not having the patterns set to go. Really hate that QR codes are locked. I can’t express that enough. That is probably one of my few complaints.

Despite not updating too much post-wise though, I have been doing the 100 Day Countdown everyday along with updating a few of the sections of the site–most often the art section. I have added some stuff to goals though @-@ Mostly to keep track of the DLC as I don’t expect the guide to update with all that. I hope it at least has the region holiday exclusives–both sold during the holiday period and those given however.

Anyway, I have pre-ordered the guide for Animal Crossing (Both the eGuide and the actual guide)–I wish it was released earlier so I could get the catalog and goal pages up ahead of time, but alas, it can’t be released until June 9th 🙁

Normally I wouldn’t get an eGuide, but I figure that will be a lot more helpful when it comes to updating everything rather than trying to flip through the pages while having the guide in real life will obviously be helpful whenever I’m not at the computer (Of course, I could always bring up the eGuide on my 3DS’ internet browser as well–yay for options!).

Overall though, while I am super excited about the game, several things/people have been getting me down. I want to stay positive and give focused on my excitement for the game, but due to some people along with the pattern problem (seriously, why are they locked T__T), I can’t help but feel a bit depressed about it too. I just wish I had a good pick-me up ._.

The site is DONE!

Yep! Everything is officially complete. Most of the minor stuff (scroll bars showing where they shouldn’t be/overlapping sometimes and not scrolling back up) are stuff that is just how the coding is–regardless, I’m really happy how this scrapbook look came out.

Hopefully a guide book will be out a bit before the game so all the content can be put up as typing all the catalogs and things while the game is out will stink. Unless I stay up all night when the stores are closed and my inventory is full or something…

MOVING ON… I’m just happy the site is working 100% 🙂 so yes, yay for that! (And Thank you to Junri and Hannah who helped me out with certain tidbits :3) Unfortunately, for obvious reasons, the site really won’t have any updates until June 9th when the game comes out (or if by some miracle I get the game early, then whatever day I get it). Regardless, you can find stuff over on my Tumblr with QR codes and various comments on items until then, not to mention a 100 Day Countdown Challenge which is quite a bit of fun.

Besides that, right now I have it set to 1 entry per page (I expect my entries to be fairly long once the game comes out), but if it turns out they aren’t so bad, I will probably increase it to 5 or 10.
