Big thank you to Amy/sorrynotsorry on the TBT Forums for letting me catalog her Tam-o’-shanter! 😀
DLC is really not being announced lately which is kind of worrisome to me–I’d hate to miss something and I know many people don’t pick up games at all except to download something briefly so…
I expect Japan will get something soon though–Korea recently got one of theirs, PAL games have been getting quite a bit, and the US received something so it seems only fair. I’m kind of surprised they didn’t do anything super special considering the game came out this month there.
Day 164 + 165
Posted by: Jennifer | on November 19, 2013I really didn’t play much yesterday due to feeling kind of awful in multiple ways. Regardless, I did make sure I picked the game up today. My villagers were really big on favors today, though, I don’t know if I’ll manage to do all of them. Marina asked to visit my house at 5PM though and Peanut wanted a Cherry. Meanwhile, Molly wanted me to come to her house at 5:10PM.
The one thing I did do yesterday though was check out the new SpotPass house.
They seem to be every 2 weeks now which is kind of disheartening, but I am happy they are still going. The house was rather small, but the wallpaper and flooring were neat.
I then went to take care of some Dream Villages. I at least feel like I’m doing progress on the list.
I then stopped by Chananr’s to Catalog the Flamenco Hat <3
Thank you again, Chananr! :3
Then, back to Dream Villages <3
Dream Address: 7400-2454-7554 – Paradise Village
After finishing, I ran into Phineas!
FINALLY 😀 YAY! I spent the remainder of my time playing just staring at my shiny badges.
So excited T~T <3
Day 163
Posted by: Jennifer | on November 17, 2013I never forget why I hate ordering stuff until I actually do and that’s due to the fact that because I keep my tools in my mail, I only have 2 slots opened. I decided to finally clear out a little bit–but the only items I could truly “retire” were my Slingshot and Axe so I only freed up to 4 slots. I can’t retire my shovel just yet as I know I will have to “dig things up” again once I make an area for Snowballs (so I can catch that Dung Beetle)… Once I do that, I’ll have a 5th slot opened. The fishing rod and bug net need to stick around as I still need my medals for catching a lot of things. I just wish I was more motivated for it. Similarly, my Detective Hat needs to stick around until I have the medals for island games (otherwise, I could just take it out as needed when playing with friends and for the Summer) while I need the Marine Suit for the Diving a lot badges. As for the watering can… I technically COULD retire it for now as I never really water anything anyway… so maybe I’ll retire that too. I only see myself using it when I do my final “Dream World” update and that’s still a ways off.
While retiring said items, Merengue ended up showing up for a surprise visit.
Before I retired my Watering Can until who knows when, I decided to water all my flowers before a Dream update today due to accomplishing some things I had wanted to yesterday. How I hate watering things ._. (I LOVE YOU SO MUCH BEAUTIFUL ORDINANCE). Peanut felt bad for me and tried to help, but she just kept watering stuff I already watered…
In the end, while I lasted longer than last time, I still gave up. The smiles were only on the outside 🙁 I really wish I could hire Leif to water my flowers.
Anyway, as for who won the Carp-only Fish Tourney yesterday, according to the Bulletin Board:
1st Place: Diana
2nd Place: Cookie
3rd Place: Marina
And thus, Dream Village time:
Dream Address: 6500-2309-3621 – Glimmer Village
T____T I was not prepared for the scaryness (which you will not see pictured, but you can find recorded).
Due to surprise scaryness, one more Dream village!
Dream Address: 3700-2069-4814
…o_o They even perfectly duplicated his house.
Day 162
Posted by: Jennifer | on November 16, 2013Today is the Fishing Tourney! Normally I’d skip it to avoid the giant tent all over my plaza and hear about the tourney all day, but I actually really wanted to play today. As per usual, I had mail again today and it was a random Thank you letter from Diana. It wasn’t about anything in particular, but it made me feel special:
Dear Jennifer,
I’m trying to thank everyone
who has helped me out in the
past, so here it is, your one-
time-only thank-you letter:
thanks for everything you
do! You are appreciated!
Much love, Diana
With all my villagers super absorbed in the Fishing Tourney, I didn’t get to talk to them much… so I went and hung out at Bellton with Andy.
I decided to plant some trees to work on my gardening badge while Andy went through the Junk Pile. Seriously, so many items just laying around.
Upon getting back to my own town, I FINALLY got a Balloon to hover over where I wanted it to!
Yeeees. With that, I can put my Slingshot away officially now.
Trundle then invited Village and I over to see his town.
He was thinking of resetting, but I offered to help fix it up.
Anyway, it’s time for the Dream Village of the day!
Dream Address: 4000-2571-8784 – Alicorn Village
After, I stopped by Rainy’s to pick up an S.S. Dolphin as I needed one more :3 And also dropped off Katie (who I swear appeared out of nowhere…)
Her town has gotten much pinker since I last visited 😛
I had fun exploring.
And that was it for today :3
Day 161
Posted by: Jennifer | on November 15, 2013So, I popped on Animal Crossing to try and finish some things and to my surprise, I was greeted with a letter from Nintendo!
I expected it to just be a regular item or a reminder of the DLC out, but it was actually a Nintendo Spotpass letter item–the Pile of Leaves!:
And yes, it IS reorderable for 400 bells! Running through the leaves is quite fun. Apparently those in Europe are getting the Flamenco Hat through a Nintendo Zone during this time.
I then went to check with my villagers and as expected, Peanut asked to move and apparently decided to 2 days ago… I’m happy I managed to stop her:
I also felt really bad as I forgot to bury Cookie’s time capsule 🙁 Blah. Andy stopped by though to get his petition signed however.
I was glad I could help :3
Anyway, I decided to try and begin the “At least One Dream Village” a day plan I had originally came up with when I decided to do this blog so I can at least still pop in… thus, today’s which is a bit of a fun one:
