Before I start with actually playing, I made sure to watch the Nintendo Direct this morning! OMGANIMALCROSSINGPLAZA! That made me SO excited and you can see birthdays for special characters and T~T <3 I am sad it won't be around forever though... I am downloading it on my Wii U as we speak...or well, as soon as the Nintendo Direct ended because I'll probably be posting this later today and then it's not really as we speak...or as you read... you know what I mean.
Also! Pumpkin Pie on August 11th. I hope they mention all the special items and dates soon. And since it's any location, now I don't have to go through tons of traffic for the only two Best Buys with Nintendo Zones that are close by 😀
I am just so so so so excited (Including for other games like Pokemon Rumble U (WHY 2 WEEKS AFTER EUROPE T__T), Professor Layton 6 (WHY 2014 T___T), and Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney to name a few...but this is an Animal Crossing blog so not going indepth) 😀
Anyway, after finally getting myself back together after massive amounts of squeeing, my day had begun. There was a Throne in the Nooklings' shop today, but I already have one so... I did manage to buy a shirt I hadn't catalogged yet from the Able Sisters though.
I decided to officially scrap the Convenience Store and go with a Toy Shop--something I think I'd enjoy more and not being a room made just to show off. I don't really like to do things like that and prefer rooms that are made of things I enjoy. I would say the trophy room though is probably a little of each, but it's more of happy accomplishments and stuff I like over a LOOK AT MY SHINY THINGS.
While it still needs a lot of work, I’m definitely much happier with it. Most of the rooms not yet complete still need a lot of things so bleh. I probably should narrow that exactly what and order things along with placing flowers, but that is what I’m having the hardest time with X__x
Sadly, I was then suddenly given some late night work to do :/ Which killed my Dream Suite planning. Bleh. Maybe I can do it later tonight.
On the bright side, the rest of the DLC at Nintendo Zones were mentioned!:
I am SO happy the Afternoon Tea Set is coming over! I don’t know if it or the Pumpkin Pie will be reorderable though… The “Machine for frozen Drink” seems to be the Slushie Machine (which is what it’s called in the US too O__o) that the UK got in a Spotpass letter from Pete so I think it’s the same thing and just an error with the name… Still, so excited for the other two!

I ended up being late due to getting Maple so I ended up staying up a little longer while I took care of things. Since it hit 6AM, I decided to at least greet Flurry and Marcie. I’m hoping to try and get either Joey, Jeremiah, or Ruby out next.
But yes, Flurry’s house is adorable.
And I made sure to officially welcome her <3
I also got a Yellow Pinwheel today which means I now no longer need Pinwheels! 😀 Just 2 Balloons and I have all the StreetPass items I need. It turns out you can actually order balloons from the houses you get from StreetPass/SpotPass (which I found interesting as they DO NOT show up in the catalog). I do NOT know if this applies to all StreetPass items but I would not be surprised. So, a friend was able to order a Cyan Bunny Balloon for me and I had my boyfriend order me a pink one from my house so yaaaaaaay. Now I just need to check new houses and don't have to worry about getting all the items anymore 🙂
Besides that, I mostly worked on fixing up the catalog a bit. I really want to work on doing a recheck of it, but I seem to keep messing up the time...
I'm also not buying out the shops anymore and only buying things if catalog stuff shows up due to ending up finishing with Gracie earlier than expected...
Since I have most things done, I'm hoping to either work on flower planting or just doing Dream Suites soon. I have a list of 138 dream addresses I'd like to visit so I just hope I find a moment to do so soon. It'll be a fun stream~
The Villager Conundrum

So, thanks to a very nice person on Tumblr, I may be getting Merengue! They still need to move her out, but with two animals pending and one on the verge of moving from Bellton, I’d feel really bad making people wait on my end 🙁 …and in fact, soon after I decided to do this, I was contacted that Maple is ready so not really a choice now XD
Thus, I decided to go on two rules:
1. Only switch back and forth between the next day and today until Rocco moves (therefore, not actually pushing any further date-wise)
2. As usual, no progressing. I won’t check turnips, I won’t dig up anything (so I won’t get more fossils or gems), I won’t shop, etc. Not that there is much I CAN do to progress–all the houses are paid off, I have all the emotions, and I’m making sure I don’t go any further than needed. The only thing I may do is Gracie’s checks as I heard she could glitch out if you skip them :/
However, since it is a new entry, here is my other Tangerine Chair that I picked up:

“What next?” is a question a lot of people ask me–how can I still play Animal Crossing so much when I’ve already finished quite a bit (meanwhile, here I am thinking “what are you talking about? I still have so much to do”).
Ignoring Dream Villagers for a second (although, I still need them and still need to move ones from Bellsy’s town to mine), for me, the most fun is actually having everything done. I tend to stress A LOT as I’m working towards the goal so a lot of the enjoyment of a game actually comes after I’ve finished. I’m anxiously awaiting when I can wander around town and I have all the flowers switched out, all the villagers I want in, all the public works built, the museum completed, my catalog done, and I’ve done all the events. Then I can enjoy spending some time wandering around town and chatting to my villagers and not have the giant stress of “NEEDTOGETSOMUCHDONEASAP”. Plus, lots of time for Dream Villages too <3
Anyway, getting to the actual gameplay today, I was greeted to lots of mail and Katie in the distance.
I actually don’t need any of her items anymore–nor am I sure how I got her as nobody as delivered her to my town recently, but I guess she’s a standard event.
