Day 70

Today was probably the quietest day I’ve had in Animal Crossing for a while (if ever). Nobody wanted to move unfortunately–though, thankfully, it does seem Flurry is staying now so yay. There were also no special guests, nothing I really needed in shops, nothing special on the island, etc. The only thing I really did was more refurbishing of the Rococo Set in pink which if you’re reading this, you’ve probably seen already since it’s in the mayor’s bedroom 😛 And of course do the daily fossil digging/rock hunting.
I only have a few Gracie Sale items left to go (unless one of the Gracie items is labeled incorrectly… it wouldn’t surprise me though): Blue Ringmaster Coat, Dollhouse Dress, Dragon Jacket, Mod Shirt, Pleather Pants, Tacky Sweater, and Tartan-Plaid Outfit. The rest of the items are Spring items for the most part with just 2 Fall items.
However, since I had nothing really going on, that made today perfect for…
😀

Day 69 – someone please tell me to stop talking

I ended up being up late so I decided to hit 6AM and greet Marcie and Flurry–plus take care of any possible mail. I ended up getting a bonus surprise of running into Phineas though.
Another gold badge~ Still no writing badge though…
I also finally got a moving notification from someone…but it was Flurry :/ I told her not to move, but I’ll be keeping a close eye on her. Definitely not what I wanted to see considering how these past few days have gone villager-wise. I really hope she stays. And hopefully someone else will want to move.
Anyway, I went to bed shortly after thus causing me to wake up much later which stinks as I hate when my sleeping is messed up and there’s not much I will be able to do about it at the moment. This will probably be a short day of playing though which stinks because it seems lately (similar to anytime I plan something lately actually) whenever I want to do like Dream Suites or work on Medal grinding, something comes up. :/ Of course, I won’t use this for crazy real life stuff–I have other things for that, but for now, it is Animal Crossing time. I still have things to dig, rocks to hit, and I’m going to make all my other characters talk with Flurry lots to help keep her here >__>

Day 68 – In which I spend more time talking about Japanese Festivals than playing

So, to be honest, what happened last night is still looming overhead so I don’t expect to play much today. Even if I try to imagine otherwise, it really sucks. In general, I’m pretty unlucky–but usually in not getting over seeing something I would love to have and not being able to do anything about it. And considering what I’ve seen people offering Marina, this could’ve been my only shot. About the only “positive” is I know I would have not had a free spot at any point. With so many people playing in this household and all the effort I made for trying to lessen destruction by incoming houses, the last thing I would do is make it so I could get some random villager from StreetPass or due to a friend coming over.
ANYWAY, in an attempt to not go back to curling into a ball of sadness, let’s hope someone who isn’t Marcie, Julian, Diana, or Flurry wants to move today. Preferably Ruby, but I’ll take Joey as well (followed by Kiki, Buck, or Kyle). Phoebe I still want to move away last to lessen the chance of someone finding a way to park their house there still. Of course, the fact that I was greeted by rain was…mixed.
At least this means I don’t have to hide my ponytail to prevent a tan today.
I also stopped by Marceline’s Town to drop off Bells for a Bell commission 😀
I am very excited.

In which I never want to time travel again
Posted by: Jennifer | on August 14, 2013So, sadly, in my attempts to get Frita and some of the other villagers out of Bellton, Peanut is trying to move… nobody has asked in my town so I decided to try and move forward to see. Just so I wouldn’t have to worry about screwing up and it not being the same day anymore.
And I noticed I had a camper.
And I was stupid and I decided to check.
…can I go cry now?
