I messed up for nothing.
One of the requests I get the most is if Iβll update my Dream Suite. In all honesty, it surprises me people still want to visit, but itβs a nice feeling. Regardless, no matter how many times I replied to people or answered, it’d end up popping up again.
So, I decided, I’d make a video to show why. That way, people can direct questions there or find a video with the info they’re looking for.
Only… I screwed up. My game was set at April 7th, 2015 and I, not having written down the year for some reason, set it to April 7th, 2016.
I can’t really describe the initial dread I felt when Isabelle said how long it’s been. For one, this meant the hair would be messed up for all characters which is infuriating because sliders suck. I hate having to use sliders in this game. It’s incredibly nervewracking. The other reason, of course, is the moving mechanic.
By SOME miracle, nobody moved and while Flurry was tempted to, I stopped her. Unfortunately, there was the Dandelion issue… I thankfully had a spare fluffy Dandelion, but I didn’t have any other yellow ones… A huge thank you to Bianca who gave me one ;~;
I will say it’s nice that friendship never really goes away–it just pauses.
It’s generally how I am with friendship so I guess if anyone I know is reading this and we haven’t spoken for a while, don’t worry and feel free to say Hi whenever.
However, when I went to update the Dream Suite, well…
My Dream Address actually hasn’t changed at all… So I have no idea why it isn’t working for people sometimes… So I spent… ~7 hours on this now and I just… .________.
She’s back! & A little on the upcoming update
So, thanks to some help from a friend, Marcie has finally returned:
I’m just really happy she’s back and we’re back to 10 villagers again. Even though there hasn’t really been any changes, I’m hoping to do a Dream Suite update sometime soon once I finish watering flowers. So many flowers π
There was also a Nintendo Direct today which I will be talking about in much more detail over on my main site, but I will talk a little bit here too. Besides confirming more on the update (and a special version of New Leaf including it will be out later this year), a special direct for Animal Crossing will also be out this Fall. I wouldn’t be surprised if it included the mobile game as well. Japan’s direct gave a date of November 2nd for it so I’m expecting that same day here as well as the Directs have usually been the same day lately.
The new Amiibo cards look amazing though and I really hope I can get all 50. It’s supposed to be all Villagers that didn’t make it into New Leaf and so these are some of my favorites:
Though, I will admit that if some get in, I may end up wanting to switch some of my villagers… We already know Ellie is, but I think Megumi, Stella, and Carmen would be the ones most tempting–I really love my current villagers though.
The cards come out December 2nd in North America, but actually come out the 3rd in Japan (a day after the scheduled Direct) and the 11th in Europe… not sure why the US has such a large delay, but I feel like the update may be the same day as or the day after the special Animal Crossing Direct so it’ll be a while before we get the new cards for it… So sick of the US being delayed like this π
Molly’s Birthday
While today has not gone at all how I’d have liked, I still made sure to pop on for Molly’s birthday. To my surprise, I had a letter from Nintendo waiting for me:

It was then off to Molly’s for her birthday!
Day 210
Today’s Diana’s birthday! I wasn’t actually planning to play today (not feeling too up to it), but I wanted to at least give her a gift.
I think it’s the first time I’ve seen just one villager over for a birthday–regardless, it was nice to see both of my top two favorite newest villagers celebrating together.
Besides that, Maple has gotten better which was nice :3 I didn’t too much else today though.
