Video Log: Twitch (Partial)
Re-tail Sign: Carpet
Turnips: AM: 82 Bells | PM: 76

Today was the day (And also making it officially a month I’ve been playing!) to see if my plan had worked… I had mail, but I was also expecting something from Wishy! What plan, you may ask? This plan:

I really wanted to hit 150K and so I decided to look up lucky items and did some late-night catching in a friend’s town. Now, it was the moment of truth by checking the mail…

Wishy:

I love Wishy so much. I actually got a 0 Lamp so this was ridiculously close to what I was hoping for (a 9 Lamp) XD And one of the number lamps I still needed!

HHA:

Yeeeeeeeeeeees. Pretty golden house model~

Double yeeeees. Yaaaaaaay. Now I should be able to get the Gold Badge and then I never have to bother with the HHA again! WOO!

Day 30.5

Posted by: | on July 7, 2013

I ended up meeting with a few people randomly after finishing for the most part today 🙂

I met up with Debbie/Gluxbox over in Wasabi.

We did a bug catching contest (it was a tie) and just had fun chatting :3 I also catalogged some stuff, although, about half was lost due to disconnects… @-@ So my catalog may be a bit off. I will be going back over tomorrow; however, to finish!

I also stopped by Rainy’s to wish a Happy Tanabata <3 We had a fun conversation.

I then went to Junri’s to drop something off for her 🙂 She was having a meteor shower!

I can’t wait to see what I’m going to get from Wishy tomorrow *CROSSES FINGERS FOR #9 LAMP*

One of the cool things I got while over in Wasabi was a Soft-serve lamp. I gave it to Cyrus to make Chocolate.

It’s so cute:

I’d love to put it in my kitchen, but it looks odd replacing the other light and while I have room to place it, I’m already having room fitting things in there 🙁 So I will probably be using it in one of my other character’s rooms.

Also, on a Blog Related note, the QR codes for the Faceboards I made are now up! I will be adding the Waterfall once I get the QR code machine unlocked on Emi. Unfortunately, I will most likely not be adding any other designs at this time.

Day 30

Posted by: | on July 7, 2013

Video Log: Twitch
Re-tail Sign: Pants
Turnips: Sunday! Joan was selling for 92 Bells each.

So, today was normal enough. I received my Stained Glass along with a letter from Katie (with a sketchbook) and a letter letting me know Jeremiah’s birthday is tomorrow. I went and ordered a Blue Wall for him.

Rocco was at the Cafe today.

But the best part is I unlocked Part-time work!

So excited to start that tomorrow. Unfortunately, since I have to go work again, I’ll either be streaming without sound or not be able to stream it 🙁

NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. SCREW YOU GAME. NO. NO. NO.

I honestly want to cry. For those wondering, the person moving in is Phoebe. She only killed two carnations (pink and white…my only white left actually now that I think about it :/) and all the new bushes Eclipsed gave me…. now I’m even more upset…

Item limit troubles in Animal Crossing

Posted by: | on July 6, 2013

So, a small rant from me. Ignoring my frustrations with getting villagers to request things or the new flower breeding system, or the fact that animals can put their houses ANYWHERE and you can do nothing about it despite being mayor…

I recently hit the limit in the Kitchen ironically. It was not where I expected to hit it at all, but my guess is because of the wall items that the limit was hit.

The limit in this game is 48–28 more than City Folk and Wild World (THANK GOD), but less than the unlimited of the Gamecube. I never understood why an item limit was added. It’s always been somewhat frustrating to me as one thing I’ve been good at is squeezing as much as I can while still making it work–possibly due to how much of a packrat I am in real life.

While 48/64 items isn’t so bad for the main floor (Giving you 16 spaces for walking), it’s when you add in the roughly 24 items on the wall that it becomes an issue because then that’s 48/88 which while still more than half–it’s only just barely more than half and I don’t need that much walking space.

I’ve seen people who want to make fancy music rooms with all the K.K. Record Art around the walls and they can’t.

Main Room: 38-39 Items. Planning at least one more.

Trophy Room: 38 Items. Planning at least 10 items (Silver, Bronze Bug Trophy, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Fish Trophy, Treasure Chest, Gold Roses, Jacob’s Ladder, Gorgeous Chair, Rococo Dresser, Gold Model Home)… I’m sure I’m missing stuff and that is already over 10.

Teddy Bear Room: 43 Items. Possibly a few wall items are planned? I’d love to put more, but I don’t even have a floor anymore.

Kitchen: 46 Items. I already know I was hoping to add way more than 2 more :/ Especially considering how many I had to remove.

Mermaid Room: 42 Items. Possibly 1-2 more things.

Bedroom ~40 Items. One item I still want to add.

Now, according to the list, the KITCHEN is the closest to being full. And looking at the rooms, I’m pretty sure most people can agree it doesn’t -look- the fullest.

Just…ugh. I hate having creativity stunted like this :/ I don’t understand the limits to be honest. If the GAMECUBE game didn’t need any, why now?!
