The Villager Conundrum

So, thanks to a very nice person on Tumblr, I may be getting Merengue! They still need to move her out, but with two animals pending and one on the verge of moving from Bellton, I’d feel really bad making people wait on my end 🙁 …and in fact, soon after I decided to do this, I was contacted that Maple is ready so not really a choice now XD

Thus, I decided to go on two rules:
1. Only switch back and forth between the next day and today until Rocco moves (therefore, not actually pushing any further date-wise)
2. As usual, no progressing. I won’t check turnips, I won’t dig up anything (so I won’t get more fossils or gems), I won’t shop, etc. Not that there is much I CAN do to progress–all the houses are paid off, I have all the emotions, and I’m making sure I don’t go any further than needed. The only thing I may do is Gracie’s checks as I heard she could glitch out if you skip them :/

However, since it is a new entry, here is my other Tangerine Chair that I picked up:

Yay~

Day 59

Video Log: Twitch Part 1, Twitch Part 2
Re-tail Sign: Tiger Butterfly
Turnips: AM: 133 | PM: 106 Bells

“What next?” is a question a lot of people ask me–how can I still play Animal Crossing so much when I’ve already finished quite a bit (meanwhile, here I am thinking “what are you talking about? I still have so much to do”).

Ignoring Dream Villagers for a second (although, I still need them and still need to move ones from Bellsy’s town to mine), for me, the most fun is actually having everything done. I tend to stress A LOT as I’m working towards the goal so a lot of the enjoyment of a game actually comes after I’ve finished. I’m anxiously awaiting when I can wander around town and I have all the flowers switched out, all the villagers I want in, all the public works built, the museum completed, my catalog done, and I’ve done all the events. Then I can enjoy spending some time wandering around town and chatting to my villagers and not have the giant stress of “NEEDTOGETSOMUCHDONEASAP”. Plus, lots of time for Dream Villages too <3

Anyway, getting to the actual gameplay today, I was greeted to lots of mail and Katie in the distance.

I actually don’t need any of her items anymore–nor am I sure how I got her as nobody as delivered her to my town recently, but I guess she’s a standard event.

Day 58

Video Log: Twitch (Partial)
Re-tail Sign: Clown fish
Turnips: Joan was selling turnips today. Didn’t check for how much

So, today “started” with me having nightmares about house placements. THIS SHOULD NOT BE SOMETHING NIGHTMARES SHOULD HAVE TO BE ABOUT. Thankfully, it seems Julian didn’t park too badly.

Yay~

This is also the first Sunday for Fireworks.

I submitted some designs so I’m looking forward to seeing how they look in the show.

Day 57

Re-tail Sign: CD
Turnips: AM: N/A | PM: 47 Bells

Since Marcie is a Normal personality type, she is up at 6AM and thus I headed over to say Hi first thing.

Yaaay. Julian should also be showing up soon as he was the second one to look to move from Bellsy’s town. Just need Cookie, Flurry, and Peanut to move now! Of course, we still need lots of people to move here too. I figure Ruby, Kiki, Joey, Jeremiah, and Rocco are next @-@

Regardless, after saying good morning to Marcie, I proceeded to fall asleep. Upon getting up, I went and sold stuff to Reese and gave Cyrus another Donut Stool–this one to make into a Chocolate Doughnut.

As for Marcie’s house…

I told you I’d make it work.

To get it over with

So, thanks to the votes… well, those of you who didn’t vote other and said nothing, it seems the Weather Box is being demolished. I decided to go ahead and get it over with quickly because I really would be too sad otherwise.

Thus, the Picnic Celebration…

Now the only things to be demolished will be reserve signs.

To my surprise though, I received my very first picture.

Thanks, Miranda.

I also found Marcie’s plot.

Not my ideal place, but not the end of the world and I can make it work.

…hopefully I feel happier tomorrow.
