Day 29

Video Log: Twitch (After break recording)
Re-tail Sign: Lychee
Turnips: AM: 60 Bells | PM: 54 Bells

The town sure looks nice during Sunrise too…

WHAT THE HECK IS THIS.

NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. SCREW YOU GAME. NO. NO. NO.

I honestly want to cry. For those wondering, the person moving in is Phoebe. She only killed two carnations (pink and white…my only white left actually now that I think about it :/) and all the new bushes Eclipsed gave me…. now I’m even more upset…

Item limit troubles in Animal Crossing

So, a small rant from me. Ignoring my frustrations with getting villagers to request things or the new flower breeding system, or the fact that animals can put their houses ANYWHERE and you can do nothing about it despite being mayor…

I recently hit the limit in the Kitchen ironically. It was not where I expected to hit it at all, but my guess is because of the wall items that the limit was hit.

The limit in this game is 48–28 more than City Folk and Wild World (THANK GOD), but less than the unlimited of the Gamecube. I never understood why an item limit was added. It’s always been somewhat frustrating to me as one thing I’ve been good at is squeezing as much as I can while still making it work–possibly due to how much of a packrat I am in real life.

While 48/64 items isn’t so bad for the main floor (Giving you 16 spaces for walking), it’s when you add in the roughly 24 items on the wall that it becomes an issue because then that’s 48/88 which while still more than half–it’s only just barely more than half and I don’t need that much walking space.

I’ve seen people who want to make fancy music rooms with all the K.K. Record Art around the walls and they can’t.

Main Room: 38-39 Items. Planning at least one more.

Trophy Room: 38 Items. Planning at least 10 items (Silver, Bronze Bug Trophy, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Fish Trophy, Treasure Chest, Gold Roses, Jacob’s Ladder, Gorgeous Chair, Rococo Dresser, Gold Model Home)… I’m sure I’m missing stuff and that is already over 10.

Teddy Bear Room: 43 Items. Possibly a few wall items are planned? I’d love to put more, but I don’t even have a floor anymore.

Kitchen: 46 Items. I already know I was hoping to add way more than 2 more :/ Especially considering how many I had to remove.

Mermaid Room: 42 Items. Possibly 1-2 more things.

Bedroom ~40 Items. One item I still want to add.

Now, according to the list, the KITCHEN is the closest to being full. And looking at the rooms, I’m pretty sure most people can agree it doesn’t -look- the fullest.

Just…ugh. I hate having creativity stunted like this :/ I don’t understand the limits to be honest. If the GAMECUBE game didn’t need any, why now?!

Day 28

Video Log: Twitch Part 1, Twitch Part 2
Re-tail Sign: Fruit Beetle
Turnips: AM: N/A Bells | PM: 90 Bells

Today was the first semi-intentional late start. I’d been skipping sleep a lot so it was nice to actually get some, even if I missed some things. I received the items my mom had me order for her along with presents from some of my villagers. Nothing I cared for, but 2 were items I didn’t have on my catalog so that was nice.

I have a new neighbor moving in–Jeremiah! I don’t care much for him, but he ended up moving RIGHT where Flip was which was really nice.

He’s lazy like Joey so he can also request the Water Pump and Jungle Gym.

Day 27

Video Log: Twitch Part 1, Twitch Part 2
Re-tail Sign: Walking Leaf
Turnips: AM: 100 Bells | PM: 96 Bells

Was greeted to lots of mail… Finally caught up on it now so yay. It seems I hit 100K with the HHA which means I just have one rank left… maybe I’ll have a chance when my Kitchen is done/I have more stuff in my trophy room? I actually hit 500K with the theme challenge, but I’m going to end the theme challenge since it obviously doesn’t count towards the badge πŸ™

Also got the wrong stump in front of my house again

I was REALLY excited when I read “Fairy-tale” and then upset when I finished.

Darn it, Kiki. CLOCK. You have to request the CLOCK. πŸ™ I think the Streetlight is kind of ugly to be honest :/

My Silver axe broke πŸ™

Thankfully, I do have a back-up.

FOJ:SFLKFS:LFSLslksdfk;lsa;lkfsa;lkfsa I managed to get the heart by the campsite and the Butterfly by my house. OTHER WAY AROUND GAME. >< Speaking of said campsite though, I had another Camper today.
Not interested in her moving in, but played a game.

My money tree was also unsuccessful πŸ™

Day 26.5 + Some Blog Stuff

Gonna get the blog stuff out of the way first… The catalog section is almost completely done. EVERYTHING is listed, but I haven’t checked anything off yet (due to the fact that my Nookling’s shop is closed at this time and thus, I can not check my catalog). Expect it to be checked off sometime tomorrow–speaking of tomorrow, Happy 4th of July everyone! <3 I am sad that fireworks aren't until August. XD To my surprise though, Matt invited me over to his Japanese town to catalog some things!
And if that wasn’t enough, it turns out it was set to be Tanabata today. I also was able to pick lots of weeds πŸ˜€

I actually really love Japanese events–ever since I had gotten a Hinaningyo back in the Gamecube version of the game, I had started to look up all kinds of Japanese festivals so it really excites me when I get to see one–even if it may not be in real life.

I also said Hi to Lucy πŸ˜›

Ruu actually invited me to her town Sunday (well, Saturday night for me) for Tanabata so I’m pretty excited πŸ˜€ Saturday will actually be a pretty busy day, but I’ll leave the reasons why for then!

But yes, the lovely Bamboo in the museum!:

So awesome <3
