I DID IT! The Final Badge! Yay!
So, after nearly three years, I finally got all gold badges! I’m so happy.
But yes, let’s get to these lovely lines from Phineas…

Yay! With that, the game is finally finished for me. Catalog complete, town done, all gold badges… Everything is finished. I might still play time to time to play with friends and/or do Dream Suite stuff, but for now, I can finally relax 🙂 And also get back to Happy Home Designer!

After catching at least 422 extra fish, I finally got the Fishing badge from Phineas:
Now, I just have Diving left. According to my count, I have 778 left to catch. Hopefully I can do it!
Another badge done!
Though… not the one I expected. So, I managed to get to 5,000 bugs and Phineas showed up!:
But he still didn’t give me the fish badge which is… very odd :/ Even if my count was slightly off, I should’ve caught more than enough to make up for it and it shouldn’t have been that far off to not get it. Even now, I’ve caught over 200 more fish and still have yet to get the badge from him which makes me worry it may end up being glitched like my tree was for a while.
If I catch 3,000 fish again and still don’t get it, it’s definitely glitched…but I’m really upset that it has come to this.
At the very least, I definitely accomplished another badge. And one will hopefully really be done soon and then I can fully work on diving.
A Rainy Day (Tribute to RainyInVancouver)
So, if you stopped by my stream today, you may already know what this is about, but if not… Well, for those who watched Rainy’s streams or knew her from TBT or elsewhere (or met her through Zed’s streams years ago like I did), you may have heard that she took a break due to medical issues. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it and passed away this year 🙁 I decided to try and visit her towns through Dream Suite today to honor just how much she put into the Animal Crossing games and how much she loved them. Rest in Peace, Rainy.
To go with stream itself, I also took quite a few pictures in each of her towns to make a post here. If you have the time, I hope you will visit them too.

We never have to do island tours again!
So, I was apparently a lot closer to the gold island badge than I thought as after playing the Elite Scavenger Hunt for a while on Club Tortimer and heading back to Pink Sea… well…
I’m so happy! This has just made me feel I’m so much closer to all of them… except probably Diving. Hopefully we can get all of them soon!
And don’t worry if you filled out the form about Island Tours–when I finish, I might still do some celebratory and even just bring a few select people to my own town. Now I just don’t need to for the badge now so we can even focus on just having fun 🙂
But for now… I’m so happy I am done with Island tours. Just catching lots of bug, fish, and diving creatures left!
