Turnips: Sunday! So Joan is selling today.
First thing I did today was rush off to McDonald’s to pick up a Pumpkin Pie.
It is NOT reorderable so if you can, definitely head to a Nintendo Zone near you to pick up one if you are in North America! I had also gotten quite a bit of mail–a painting for Rainy, a camera from Katie, and a Number 4 Lamp from Julian (yay!).
If that wasn’t enough, Phineas was in town!
Yaaaaay <3 Finally, the Gold Catalog badge! For the record, I have 2,556 items catalogged at the moment 😀 Rainy also visited to pick up a painting I had for her and I visited Ruu to drop off a Pumpkin Pie. She gave me a 7-11 Set T~T <3 Thank you, Ruu! <3

Before I start with actually playing, I made sure to watch the Nintendo Direct this morning! OMGANIMALCROSSINGPLAZA! That made me SO excited and you can see birthdays for special characters and T~T <3 I am sad it won't be around forever though... I am downloading it on my Wii U as we speak...or well, as soon as the Nintendo Direct ended because I'll probably be posting this later today and then it's not really as we speak...or as you read... you know what I mean.
Also! Pumpkin Pie on August 11th. I hope they mention all the special items and dates soon. And since it's any location, now I don't have to go through tons of traffic for the only two Best Buys with Nintendo Zones that are close by 😀
I am just so so so so excited (Including for other games like Pokemon Rumble U (WHY 2 WEEKS AFTER EUROPE T__T), Professor Layton 6 (WHY 2014 T___T), and Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney to name a few...but this is an Animal Crossing blog so not going indepth) 😀
Anyway, after finally getting myself back together after massive amounts of squeeing, my day had begun. There was a Throne in the Nooklings' shop today, but I already have one so... I did manage to buy a shirt I hadn't catalogged yet from the Able Sisters though.
I decided to officially scrap the Convenience Store and go with a Toy Shop--something I think I'd enjoy more and not being a room made just to show off. I don't really like to do things like that and prefer rooms that are made of things I enjoy. I would say the trophy room though is probably a little of each, but it's more of happy accomplishments and stuff I like over a LOOK AT MY SHINY THINGS.
While it still needs a lot of work, I’m definitely much happier with it. Most of the rooms not yet complete still need a lot of things so bleh. I probably should narrow that exactly what and order things along with placing flowers, but that is what I’m having the hardest time with X__x
Sadly, I was then suddenly given some late night work to do :/ Which killed my Dream Suite planning. Bleh. Maybe I can do it later tonight.
On the bright side, the rest of the DLC at Nintendo Zones were mentioned!:
I am SO happy the Afternoon Tea Set is coming over! I don’t know if it or the Pumpkin Pie will be reorderable though… The “Machine for frozen Drink” seems to be the Slushie Machine (which is what it’s called in the US too O__o) that the UK got in a Spotpass letter from Pete so I think it’s the same thing and just an error with the name… Still, so excited for the other two!
Day 55! – The first of August

So, the day started off with running into Katie. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure how I ran into her in the first place.
Regardless, I was heading to my mom’s town to meet up with Imaginos for a fun catalogging session so I invited her to come along.
With that done, I went to go stop by the Post office as the new DLC for August was out!
Yaaay 😀 I don’t know if it works in the Space Room (Galaxies can be pretty colorful), but it was the only thing I could thing of.
I had a Camper today–was the first time I had one in a while.
I then had an even bigger surprise…

So, I had to get my iconic outfit… Good thing I was stopping by my mom’s town. Shall have Bellsy drop it off there. Regardless, despite the good news, I was having quite the problem with fossils and Gyroids–still needing one of each…so, I figured I’d just find them later and headed on my way.
With my outfit now on… it was time.
“Yay! I passed 😀 …Still just a Princess though. And a mayor I guess? Princess-Mayor?”

Anyway, August also brings new bugs and fish! …but most of my friends were in August so there actually isn’t anything I need. Regardless, I am still excited about being able to catch turtles–I need one for a room I am planning… >3
It was then time to try and get the final public work I need from Kiki again…
1. She asked for a new greeting.
2. Tried to invite me to her house.
3. Asked about what snack she’s like.
4. Kiki asked for a perfect fruit.
5. Caught by Rocco. He wanted new furniture. :/
I then took a small break to go buy out the stores and get some stuff done like seeing Dr. Shrunk :3

After giving Phoebe some medicine (and it looks like she will be back in good health tomorrow! I hope so), it was then back to Kiki.

At this point, I took another break as I wasn’t feeling well and felt like curling into a ball of frustration for a bit–plus I still need to do house expansions for the other characters so bleh.
After getting everyone paid off before Nook’s closed at 8, I proceeded to start some Stained Glass refurbishing–one more for the church and one for the space room. After picking up things on other characters, I made sure to update Dream Suite and then it was time to try and get the Drinking Fountain/Water Fountain from Kiki again…
