Day 26.5 + Some Blog Stuff
Gonna get the blog stuff out of the way first… The catalog section is almost completely done. EVERYTHING is listed, but I haven’t checked anything off yet (due to the fact that my Nookling’s shop is closed at this time and thus, I can not check my catalog). Expect it to be checked off sometime tomorrow–speaking of tomorrow, Happy 4th of July everyone! <3 I am sad that fireworks aren't until August. XD
To my surprise though, Matt invited me over to his Japanese town to catalog some things!
And if that wasn’t enough, it turns out it was set to be Tanabata today. I also was able to pick lots of weeds 😀
I actually really love Japanese events–ever since I had gotten a Hinaningyo back in the Gamecube version of the game, I had started to look up all kinds of Japanese festivals so it really excites me when I get to see one–even if it may not be in real life.
I also said Hi to Lucy 😛
Ruu actually invited me to her town Sunday (well, Saturday night for me) for Tanabata so I’m pretty excited 😀 Saturday will actually be a pretty busy day, but I’ll leave the reasons why for then!
But yes, the lovely Bamboo in the museum!:

Last night, I actually found a Lost Item…but since it was so late, I knew nearly everyone was asleep so I will be Detectiving it today instead.
So, the Nookling shop has officially remodeled! Which is nice, but the new hours kind of suck. I was greeted to quite a bit of a mail–nothing surprising though. I received a Globe from Katie.
Also, no rain! THANK GOD. My house is so much nicer without rain T~T
Let’s hope I can catch a Walking Leaf today (and a Scorpion tonight!)
I also picked up the Red Lily Player~
Ruby asked to come over…I scheduled her for 5PM incase I take a nap again during the day.

Anyway, he was heading to Peru–so I expect a Tapestry tomorrow.

I made sure to stop by Brewster’s. Nobody was there today which was actually a bit of surprise.
I like to pretend it’s tea sometimes since I actually hate coffee. I normally can’t smell, but on the few occasions I can, the smell makes me want to gag >> I prefer Tea, Hot Chocolate, and Apple Cider for my hot drinks.
Unfortunately, walking around looking for fossils has made me aware that most of my trees (normal trees) were in the way so finding a Walking Leaf will be even harder… I need to plant some new trees but I need to build more projects first. ._.

Sleep-in Saturday @-@ …but what about Saturday morning cartoons? 🙁

Day 24

So, today is an early start due to me trying to fix my sleeping by staying up and thus, Animal Crossing marathon! I was greeted with good news from the get-go…well, sort of.
It’s not opened yet and I technically don’t actually need it… but I’ll probably get a Mii mask just to say I have.
I wasn’t expecting a storm at 6AM considering there had been no rain at all during pathing… Blah. But yep, full storm with lightning and everything 🙁 Not to mention I can’t catch a Scorpion or Walking Leaf with this weather…

Day 23.5
So, while doing patterns I saw a Scorpion Tail! Unfortunately, it vanished before I even had a chance to attempt it. I’ve noticed the Scorpion and Tarantula do not stick around long which is really annoying.
I did manage to get a Cicada Shell though.
According to my list…
Walking Leaf – 8AM-5PM (Ground)
Evening Cicada – 4AM-8AM, 4PM-7PM (Tree)
Cicada Shell – All Day (Tree)
Scorpion – 4PM-4AM (Ground)
Arapaima – 4AM-9AM, 4PM-4AM (River)
Horseshoe Crab – 9PM-4AM (Diving)
…I can currently get the Scorpion, Arapaima, and Horseshoe Crab (and of course the Cicada Shell but already got that) so I guess I’ll keep an eye out for those while patterning… Shall edit if I catch anything else.
Edit: While attempting to find a Horseshoe Crab, I did run into a certain Otter…
He gave me a Sea View (yay).

Edit 4: Unfortunately, it hit 4AM and thus, no chance at the others, but I did finish pathing! I also caught an Evening Cicada 🙂

Re-Tail Sign: Giant Snakehead
Turnips: Sunday. Joan was selling turnips for 97 Bells each.
Because I am up for some reason at nearly 6AM, I decided to try and have an early day–even if I’ll probably be taking a nap within an hour or so and that “early start” will be ruined since not much is opened at that time.
It was nice to see. I had some mail–received a Sketchbook from Katie. Also, the 6AM music is very pretty.
I also apparently upgraded my Trophy Room instead of my Kitchen… oops. Shall do the Kitchen today then with the Toy Room tomorrow.
Anyway, while there was still stuff I needed to do (like celebrate the Cafe, go to the cafe, and dig for fossils), Matt invited me over to his Japanese town! So I decided to stop there first :3
I had fun catalogging things <3 (so want to get one of those glass cases with the books in them…)
